Groot Constantia Merlot/Shiraz 1999

A blend of noble varietals, Merlot 60% and Shiraz 40% results in a soft, full-bodied taste and plenty of berry and pepper aromas. Loads of berry flavours derive from the Merlot grapes, whilst Shiraz has its typical peppery trademark. The wine is prepared in a medium to full bodied style, and the blending has been done after maturation.
Serving Suggestions: Beef stew, Oxtail.
