Deep red and elegant Cabemet made in the New World style. Aromas of bramble and lead pencil, with dominant red fruit entry on the palate,balanced with cedar tannins. Restrained flavours and not overly bold.

in the vineyard : A lot of attention is paid to detail in the vineyards regarding canopy management.
about the harvest: Harvested from mature and trellised vines at a ripeness of 25°B. Harvesting was done early in the morning by hand, followed by rigorous berry sorting.
in the cellar : Wine was fermented dry on the skins with VR5 and NT112 yeast strains. Free-run and press wine was kept separate in small French oak barrels, 50% new, for malo-lactic fermentation and ageing. Batch blending was done after eight months and the blends returned to barrel for an additional two months.
