in the vineyard : The spirit expresses exceptionally concentrated pear flavours. The Elgin Valley provides the very best climate for this fruit. All fruits are harvested ripe and directly transported to the distillery. Only the pears with the aimed degree of ripeness are selected to be mashed and fermented.

in the cellar : The Malbec Noble Late Harvest pomace can be distilled right after the mesh fermentation process. The column still is a special construction made by Hubertus Vallendar himself. Only the heart and the fine-distill are filled into the bottle. The abundant sweetness and raisin whiffs of the Malbec NLH grape are beautifully captured in this husk spirit.
