Nederburg Sauvignon Blanc Reserve 2001

Wine ranging in flavour from grass to asparagus and tropical fruit, full of herbaceous fragrance, gooseberry and tropical tones. Generous on the palate, this Reserve wine has a splendid mouthfeel, a weighty luscious palate where exotic passion fruit, peach and gooseberry flavours are in perfect balance. The wine has ripe, sweet unoaked fruit with a flinty edge and yet an elegant, dry finish. Drinkable now but with room for growth. Perfect companion to seafoods and creamy fish or chicken dishes, mushroom, asparagus or any white dishes.
