All that could be said is that this is the red wine of the vintage. Every year our opinion of this vineyard and the Tinta Barocca variety just strengthens, for it is clear that it is extremely well-adapted to the region. With this tension of tannin and the acidity it is one of the best varieties for ageing. Just tasting through the bottling of this vineyard (planted in the late 60’s and 70’s) recently we had an absolute confirmation thereof.
