Beautifully rich in appearance, showing a deep,dark core.Seductive aromas of ripe cherries, tobacco leaf, tilled earth and that classic cedar wood fragrance so often associated with Bordeaux-style blends.
The wine is taut, showing lovely chalky texture and plenty of concentration. Dense and compact, the tannin structure holds the blend firmly together whilst refreshing flavours of dark red fruit and earthy notes wash over the palate. The wine has a pleasantly persistent finish: sappy, savoury, and inviting of one more sip.
Red meat, dairy or tomato based pastas. A glass onits own goes down great as well.
