in the vineyard : The grapes came from the Bobbejaanberg, Sondagstuk and Boesmansrug vineyards on the estate. The vineyards are situated at altitudes ranging from 200 to 500 metres above sea level and the age of the vines were between 7 and 29 years during the vintage year. The vines were cultivated under dryland conditions.

about the harvest: The grapes were picked by hand at 22,5Â° Balling on February 10. The yield was 6 tons per hectare.

in the cellar : In the cellar the juice received 4 to 10 hours skin contact and fermented cold at 15Â°C for 12 days.
