Made from one of the oldest Tinta Barocca plantings in South Africa. An elegant but structured wine with a lingering finish.

in the vineyard : Farmed dry-land, thus not irrigated. We are privileged to have some of the oldest Tinta Barocca in the country on our property. The vines were planted in 1969 and 1973.
about the harvest: The grapes were harvested early in the morning and hand-selected in the cellar.
in the cellar : 100% destemmed and fermented in 2000l foudres. Aged for 11 months in old 500l French oak barrels.
