Cordoba Merlot 1995

A wine with an intense colour packed with concentrated cherry/plum flavours with classics oak undertones adding extra dimension. The firm tannins speak of the wine's excellent ageing potential.

ageing : 10 years
in the cellar : The berries were gently crushed. Three weeks maceration on the skins was allowed post alcoholic fermentation to extract as much as possible, followed by a very gentle pressing. Thereafter the wine spen 19 months in 225l French Oak barrels.
