Soil: Deep black, loamy soil

12 year old bushvine Semillon and 20 year old trellised Weisser Riesling vines. Slight botrytis infection on both varieties adds complex characteristics to the wine.

about the harvest: THe grapes were picked by hand in the beginning of April.

in the cellar : The grapes were immediately pressed once picked. Only free-run juice used. Cold fermentation stopped at 35 g/l sugar.
