Drostdy Hof was launched in South Africa in 1973 and has extended its reach into African and key international markets.

Home to centuries of winemaking tradition and a symbol of lasting quality and craftsmanship, De Oude Drostdy in the heart of the Tulbagh valley was established in 1804 abd continues to be an inspiration to ensure the continued delivery of a consistent quality range of blended wines with magnified flavour that is loved around the world.

in the vineyard :

To ensure optimal quality and consistency, the Drostdy Wines are made from selected wines that meet exacting standards.

about the harvest:

The Drostdy Hof Extra Light Rosé grapes were harvested at technological rather than physiological maturity. Grapes were harvested at 19° to 21° Balling early in January, resulting in lower-alcohol wine.

in the cellar :

After limited skin contact in the cellar, cold fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. By controlling the fermentation, a delicate, fruity rosé wine was produced which is low in alcohol yet full of flavour.
