in the vineyard : This Merlot is selected from the vineyard blocks planted on Vrede en Lust’s Elgin farm, Casey’s Ridge.

in the cellar : The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks as well as oak. The wine was made for drinking ‘young’.
