Dark plums with savoury spice & meaty notes on the nose. Chalky tannin and a smooth mid palate that finishes with length and texture.

Excellent with roasted meat dishes and venison. Will also be the perfect companion for a braai or with matured hard cheeses.

in the cellar : The grapes were handpicked at full ripeness and transported to the cellar for immediate processing. Spontaneous/wild fermentation in stainless steel
tanks and wooden casks commenced after a two-day period cold maceration. After fermentation the wine was left on the skin for approximately two
weeks before pressing. Maturation took place in a combination of 225L & 300L oak barrels for 24 months.
