Elegant with dark cherries and raspberries, with lingering cigar box and a hint of tea leaf. Mid palate has a rich character of leather and pencil lead with a roud, full finish.

in the cellar : The Vriesenhof Cabernet Sauvignon is only available in magnums, making it a collector’s item. The reason being to identify a couple of barrels of excellent wine and to put something special in a bottle to be enjoyed now or in years to come. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and underwent 100% malolactic fermentation before racked to barrels. The wine was aged for 48 months in 2nd fill French oak barrels.
