This wine is crafted to express pure Syrah fruit from cool-climate vineyards, meaning dark fruit flavours with elegant spice and pepper. The whole-bunch fermentation lends additional freshness, structure and persistence to the palate. Once the wine opens up, the enticing bouquet develops floral notes as well as rosemary and fynbos. The mouth-filling texture of the medium-bodied palate provides good balance and drinkability. Production only 1368 bottles.
