J.C. Le Roux JC Blue

The wine's colour is pale green, beneath a jewel like collar of fine bubbles. A spectacular fresh tropical nose complimented by lime green undertones. On the palate the wine is delicate, crisp and light, semi - sweet with +/- 40g/l sugar which gives the impression of smoothness rather than sweetness.

JC has an alcohol content of 11,5% and comes in a stylish blue 187 ml bottle complete with its own straw.
in the vineyard : The grapes were selected from the Stellenbosch region. The vines were planted between 1994 and 1998 at altitudes of between 180 and 245 metres above sea level. The vineyards face south and southwest.
about the harvest: The grapes were harvested at 22-23.5 Balling from Mid February. The yield was between 8 and 15 Tons/ha.
