Morgenster Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Colour: Bright lemon with a tinge of green.
Palate: This elegantly crafted wine has gracious balance and poise, with soft lingering acidity giving way to a sweet concentration of fruit. Some herbaceous austerity also adds to the interest.
Nose: Tropical flavours abound in this Sauvignon Blanc, displaying litchi, melon, mango and some notes of paprika and thyme.

Lovely on its own at any time and very enjoyable with food. Match it with salads, fish or poultry dishes

Morgenster Sauvignon Blanc 2017 is one of the Estate’s first single varietal wines to be rebranded under new labelling.
Cellar master Henry Kotzé has crafted this wine to suit a wide range of tastes and occasions, with the focus being enjoyment. By picking the grapes a bit riper he has avoided an overly-used, green, one-dimensional profile often associated with the variety, instead offering a range of tropical flavours.

in the vineyard : As the Estate’s Sauvignon Blanc vineyards are not producing yet, this vintage has been made from bought in grapes.
