Lightly wooded. Gentle berry and vanilla toastiness on the nose with a typically Merlot ripe mulberry rich summer fruit palate. A soft mouthfeel and well-balanced tannins ensure early drinkability.

The wine drinks lovely with stews, chargrilled chicken, venison, lamb, smoked meats and flavourful cheeses.

about the harvest: The grapes were picked at optimum ripeness at 24.5 degrees Balling. Harvesting is done by hand. Night harvested at optimum ripeness
in the cellar : Fermentation and post fermentation maceration took place on the skins for ten days. The grapes were pressed gently and malolactic fermentation was encouraged. The wine was wood matured on French oak staves for 4 months.
