A powerful, elegant wine with bright fruit on the palate. Well balanced, with rich aromas of tobacco and pencil led, a lingering finish filled with spicy aromatics and a beautiful structure.

in the cellar : The Vriesenhof Cabernet Sauvignon is only available in magnums, making it a collector’s item. The reason being to identify a couple of barrels of excellent wine and to put something special in a bottle to be enjoyed now or in years to come. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and underwent 100% malolactic fermentation before racked to barrels. The wine was aged for 42 months in 2nd fill French oak barrels.
