Jason's Hill Izak Reserve Bordeaux Blend 2015

The Izak Reserve 2015 is rich in flavour and aroma intensity. Packed with cherry and ripe berry flavour with barrel ageing characteristics. Fully extracted and deep in intensity. There are so many flavours found within a glass of this wine that if it is tasted over the course of a long dinner it will change dramatically from the first glass to the last. Flavours of dark fruits such as blackberry and blueberry with cassis and spice are just some of what you may discover in this wine.

In its youth this wine is best enjoyed with a rich meal such as beef or game, but as it ages it will soften and will go well with lamb and all by itself Roasts Lamb Steaks Stews...

Jason’s Hill Private Cellar is tucked away in the heart of the Boland at the foot of the Slanghoek Mountains. With its fertile soil and excellent climate the very best of grapes are produced for making award-winning wines. The winery was built in 2002 when the Du Toit family decided to make their own wine and the winery has been going from strength to strength. Not only did Ivy Du Toit win the Diners Club Young Winemaker of the Year Award in 2003, she was also South Africa’s first Woman Winemaker of the Year in 2004.
