in the vineyard : Our Constancia grape to wine source was very low due to a very low yield, so we combined it with grapes grown in the McGregor area. The blending of these different wines of origins created a unique challenge and opportunity for our winemakers. This remarkably pleasant Sauvignon Blanc reflects the best attributes from both these origins.

in the cellar : The Constantia Sauvignon Blanc was transported in the refrigerated truck to the Org De Rac farm and processed after a relatively short skin period. The other component from McGregor was quite a sturdy structured wine with a very fresh appeal. The blend from the two origins shows a well-balanced wine with a great fruit mouthfeel.
