Haute Cabrière Arnim Family Réserve 2018

This pioneering blend has a dark, rich colour with intense red fruit and spice on the nose followed by hints of cedar from the French oak barrels. On the palate, it is layered with liquorice and cassis notes, with a full mouthfeel and well-balanced tannins.

Mild creamy cheeses, Asian inspired chicken, quail, seared tuna, rack of lamb.

Haute Cabrière has a rich history of innovation. In keeping a close watch on wine-drinking trends, Haute Cabrière has released a Rhone-inspired blend of Syrah and Pinot Noir. It may seem unusual because Syrah is a robust, tannic and spicy grape, while Pinot Noir is delicate and more aromatic. Pinot Noir will soften the Syrah, whilst Syrah will enhance the fruity red berry flavours of the Pinot Noir. This exciting red blend is another step in Cabrière's history of initiating new market niches and blending classic cultivars.
