in the vineyard : Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz thrive in Robertson due to the optimal climatic conditions. Both vines are grown in red Karoo and well-weathered shade soils that are rich in lime. Berry size and fruit complexity are managed by controlled irrigation.
