ageing : This wine will continue to age and develop admirably for 5 – 10 years from harvest.

in the vineyard : Capaia was blessed with a cool, slow ripening period during the summer season of 2013. We experienced no heat waves or hot winds during our harvest, which helped to create fruits that slowly ripened and could reach their full potential before being hand-picked.

about the harvest: Hand Picked

in the cellar :

Nature showed it’s kindness by allowing us to craft a wine of exceptional quality, showing rich, ripe black berries. Balanced with enough oak coming from 2nd and 3rd fill French barrels, we believe our Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2013 is ripe and rather big for a second label wine.

18 months in 2nd and 3rd fill French Oak Barriques
