Quoin Rock Red Blend 2016

A wine with complex layers of dark fruit, vanilla oak, cacao and a hint of pencil shavings typical of Cab variety. A big, structured yet velvety and elegant pallet that lingers on and on. A beautiful expression of new world upfront fruit and old world elegance.

This impressive wine can be paired to most dishes due to its complexity. It pairs very well in particular with roasted meats or a simple dry aged Wagyu sirloin on the bone.

Individual grape parcels from some of our best vineyards on the farm were crushed and fermented in open-top stainless-steel tanks with regular punch-downs (4-5 times daily), followed by extended skin maceration. All parcels are kept separately for the entire time of aging to allow the winemaker to choose carefully from the batches and ensure we adhere to the high standards and exceptional quality expected from the Quoin Rock Bordeaux Blend.
