Bonnievale Neat De-alcolised Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Juicy passion fruit, guava and gooseberries shine from the glass of this wine, a de-alcoholised Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is broad, crisp and refreshing, and shows those same fruit characters all the way through its lingering finish.

This wine can comfortably be enjoyed on its own, but thanks to its generous Sauvignon blanc character makes a good partner to seafood, including sushi. Serve slightly chilled.

Bonnievale Wines gets its name from the town founded in the 1800s by visionary Scotsman Christopher Forrest Rigg. He unlocked the region’s agricultural potential and secured the roots of our community.

Our home lies east of Cape Town, in a valley long associated with excellent dairy, fruit and wine farming. Cool air from the nearby coastline ensures flavourful grapes.

Our philosophy is founded on respect and collaboration – working together and with nature. We meticulously produce and select the very best grapes from what nature and the vintage has to offer.

in the vineyard : The Sauvignon blanc for this wine hails from our most Southerly and coolest vineyards.
about the harvest: They grow on a South easterly slope with rainfall supplemented by micro irrigation, when necessary.
in the cellar : Once vinified, the wine is then de-alcoholised gently to preserve the varietal, vintage and terroir characteristics.
