The name says it all! Affectionately dubbed Pinno, this uncomplicated yet immensely rewarding wine celebrates South Africa’s very own home grown grape variety in all its multi-faceted glory. In 1924 a pioneer in local viticulture, Professor Perold, crossed the two French varieties Pinot Noir (the classic Burgundian cultivar) and Hermitage or Cinsaut (an easy to grow and disease resistant grape).
