Alex Milner of Natte Valleij and Simon Back from Backsberg combined forces in bringing Profectus to life. They selected some of the finest grapes in the Simonsberg Paarl ward to produce this compelling blend. The wine was made at Natte Valleij using low intervention winemaking and matured in one old 1200 litre oak foudre. Only 1500 bottles of this wine have been produced. 
 
The name Profectus means to advance, progress or grow. This wine was made possible by EO Winelands, and is in line with the EO values of 'Think big and 'Together we grow'.
