Backsberg celebrates five generations of winemaking heritage. In the 1920s, the original barrel cellar was built on the farm. While it is no longer in use today, this Dry Red pays homage to humble beginnings and pursuing potential.

in the vineyard : The fruit is from both younger vines, that drive the fruit profile, and lowyielding older vineyards, that provide a very finely structured backbone Oakleaf and weathered granite soils ensure soils rich in organic matter.

in the cellar : A variety of Backsberg’s premium red cultivars are blended together to create a soft, easy-drinking red wine. This wine incorporates portions of exceptional wines of various winemaking styles with high-quality oak-aged components building a beautiful backbone. An approachable blend for everyday enjoyment.
