in the vineyard : Trellised vines, grafted onto rootstock R99, R110, 101-14 Mgt in a weathered granite soil with medium clay were used. Weather during the ripening season was sunny and dry, with the cooling effect of the Atlantic Ocean.

about the harvest: These vines yielded 10 tonnes per hectare and were harvested at 24Â°B at the end of February. Harvested at optimum ripeness.

in the cellar : Cool fermentation (20-24Â°C) to preserve fruit flavours and soft tannins. Pressed before dryness for softness and structure. Blended, egg fined and bottled.
