Brimming of red fruit, cherries and plum on the nose. Flavours of red berries, cherry and a hint of chocolate on the palate, complemented by an elegant tannin structure. This wine has great variety expression and flavours with a touch of oak that helps with complexity, mouthfeel and colour stability.

This wine pairs well with red meat dishes, but can also be enjoyed with lighter meals like wild mushroom quinoa risotto or a vegetarian ramen noodle bowl.

It’s the beauty in the everyday that touches the heart and makes the spirit light. Light on the body, too, is this lively Pinotage. Brimming with spicy plum and dark fruit notes, it is low in alcohol yet full in flavour.
in the cellar : Under dryland conditions, Pinotage produces small berries with good flavour concentration. Harvested from bush vine vineyards in the Paarl region, the grapes were picked at 25°Balling to ensure a soft and fruity style of wine. 30% of the wine was dealcoholised mid-fermentation to achieve a low alcohol level. The wine was aged on French oak staves for six months.
