This cuvée is made 85 % from Old Vine Maccabeu, a Mediterranean (Catalan) grape variety. For extra complexity we have included 10% Grenache Blanc and 5% Grenache Gris in the blend. It truly represents an excellent expression of white wine from one of the most beautiful terroirs in France.

The elegant label on this bottle traces the Grier family ‘s story through a stylized illustration of a world map, on which the journey between South Africa and South of France is indicated.

about the harvest: The vines, which are trellised, are harvested early enough to ensure freshness.

in the cellar : The grapes are pressed directly, preventing the juice from oxidation. After cooling, the juice remains in static settling tanks for 48 hours. Then it is racked to be fermented at 14°C in stainless steel tanks, with a small portion in barrels. Once the vinification is completed, bottling is carried out quickly after stabilising and filtration always with the aim of optimizing the freshness of the product.
