Sometimes the simplest experiences can spark the most joy: dewdrops glittering in the rising sun, the honey-sweet scent of wildflowers, a butterfly in flight. It’s the beauty in the everyday that touches the heart and makes the spirit light. Light on the body, too, is this lively Chenin Blanc. Brimming with zesty citrus and tropical fruit notes, it is low in alcohol yet full in flavour.

about the harvest: Vintage: The 2024 harvest began two weeks earlier than the previous year due to unforeseen winds in late November and early December, resulting
in a reduced yield. Despite this, elevated temperatures in early February necessitated an early grape harvest, with the anticipated quality remaining exceptional.

Harvested from a 19-year-old bush vine vineyard in the Paarl region, the grapes were picked at 22°Balling to ensure the fresh style of the wine.

in the cellar : Method: Under dryland conditions, Chenin Blanc produces small berries with good flavour concentration.  30% of the wine was dealcoholised
mid-fermentation to achieve a low alcohol level. No lees contact took place after fermentation.
