The Val De Ra Red Blend harmonizes Cabernet Sauvignon's intensity with Merlot's elegance, creating a balanced, fruit-driven wine. Its vibrant ruby hue introduces aromas of ripe cassis, dark cherry, and plum,accented by cedar, cigar-box spice, and mocha. The smooth, refined palate reveals blackberry, cherry, and cassis, with silky tannins, graphite minerality, and a lingering tobacco leaf finish.

in the vineyard : Sourced from the finest vineyards in the Helderberg. Cabernet Sauvignon, grown on granite-rich mountain slopes, benefits from cool coastal breezes and diurnal temperature shifts, resulting in concentrated fruit, deep color, and structured tannins. Merlot adds balance, bringing plush texture and vibrant fruit. Meticulous vineyard practices, including bunch and leaf thinning, ensure optimal quality.
about the harvest: Only the finest hand-harvested grapes were vinified with meticulous quality control.
in the cellar : Fermentation occurred in stainless-steel tanks for two weeks, with regular pump-overs to extract vibrant colour and tannins. Each vineyard component was vinified separately. Extended skin maceration enhanced structure, while malolactic fermentation preserved blueberry notes and freshness. The wine aged in French oak for 12 months, with 20% new oak.
