Darling Cellars Wildflower White Jerepigo NV

Beautifully fragrant floral flavours fill the glass together with honeysuckle notes; and luscious citrus and ripe yellow peach flavours; sweetness well balanced with lively acidity for a long and fruity aftertaste. A delicious fortified dessert wine.

 

This wine can be enjoyed in winter with a spicey curry dish, but can also be served well chilled on a hot summer’s day. Enjoy now or drink within 10 years of bottling.

The little town of Darling is the entrance to the flower portal of the West Coast. We decided to create a special Wildflower label for drinks that do not have a spot in our core wine ranges.

The two factors which play the most important role in determining the character and quality of a wine are nature (soil, climate and location) and the human hand (cultivar choice, viticultural practices and winemaking techniques). Of these two, nature is considered to be the more important factor with a greater influence.

in the cellar : 

Destalk and Crush. After 24 hours skin contact at 7°C, with continuous pump overs to extract maximum flavours the juice was drained from the static separators, settled and then fortified with wine spirits.
