in the vineyard : Syrah grapes from a specific section of a south facing vineyard. Here the decomposed granite soils contain a bit more gravel with some scattered granite outcroppings.

about the harvest: The grapes were handpicked and cooled overnight in a cold room.

in the cellar : 100% whole bunch fermentation occurred spontaneously in open top concrete tanks. The wine was drained and lightly pressed of the skins as soon as fernemtation was completed. Wines is aged in a combination of 400L first fill French oak and 2nd and 3rd fill 225L oak for 18 months.
