Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, our Rosé is fresh and dry with delicate floral notes, fresh strawberries, peachy stone fruit and a tantalizing minerality on the finish.

in the vineyard : Made from 17-year old Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards situated on the lower slopes of the Helderberg Mountain. Grapes were harvested early morning in the 3rd  week of February.

about the harvest: Grapes were hand harvested in the early morning to preserve the natural coolness and freshness

in the cellar : They were then whole-bunch pressed straight after harvest and juice extraction started immediately. Grapes were pressed to 550L per ton and cold settled. Racking off the settling lees took place after 36 hours. The juice was inoculated with yeast that enhances the natural flavours in our grapes. Fermentation took 21 days at low temperatures of 12-14 degrees Celsius. After fermentation the wine was left on the gross lees in stainless-steel tanks for 3 months before 1 racking was done. Light filtration before bottling in July 2025.
