Nederburg Classic Lyric 2024

Lime green in colour with a yellow tinge. Aromas of passion fruit and jasmine with hints of white peach and lime. Medium-dry, crisp with a lovely follow-through of stone fruit and citrus flavours.

Delicious with seafood, light meals and salads.

in the vineyard : The grapes were sourced from vineyards across the Western Cape. The viticulturist works hand-in-hand with the grape growers in managing each vineyard block to ensure the best quality fruit for this wine. The different microclimates and soil types associated with each vineyard add to the complexity of the wine. The vines are trellised on a four-wire system and received supplementary irrigation during the growing season.
about the harvest: The grapes were harvested by hand and machine at 20º to 22º Balling from Mid-January to February
in the cellar : The fruit was crushed and gently pressed to extract excellent quality juice. The juice was then clarified, followed by fermentation in stainless-steel tanks for three weeks at 15ºC. The individual cultivars and blocks were kept separate until the final blend was made. The wine was then stabilised and bottled.
