Human culture started here at the tip of Africa, despite being off the charts. It is fitting that something as culturally rooted as wine should thrive here, along with our shared birth of imagination. This inspires my “Off the Charts” range of wines, crafted from grape varieties and regions that are South Africa’s viticultural cornerstones. The labels draw inspiration from the untamed majesty of our wilderness wonderland and the symbolic Basotho blanket. Enjoy our culture.

in the cellar : The Breedekloof region is widely regarded as one of the premier terroirs for Pinotage, with its steep, stony mountain slopes yielding exceptional grapes that many of the country’s most awarded Pinotage master winemakers covet. Similarly, the Swartland is renowned for producing world-class Pinotage. This wine represents a meticulous blend of the finest fruit from both regions. Hand-picked in the cool early morning hours, the grapes are destemmed but left uncrushed, undergoing fermentation on the skins in traditional Roto fermenters. For added complexity, 20% of the wine is matured in a mix of new and old oak barrels before bottling.
