in the vineyard : Soil: Grown on a wide variety of soil types, mostly deep hutton types. All vineyards are unirrigated bush vine.
Climate: The Swartland falls within the coastal winter rainfall area. Warm, dry summers, moderated by cool Atlantic breezes.
