DeWaal Shiraz 2001

A concentrated rich and full wine with flavours of spices, creamy dark fruit and a smoky undertone.
The 1999 Shiraz was the Maiden vintage for Uiterwyk Wine Estate, and is the only Shiraz in South Africa made in true Northern Rhone tradition where Viognier is added to develop a softer more fragrant style.
