in the vineyard : Climate: Mediterranean rainfall ±650mm per annum.
Soil: A diverse composition of soil and typography add complexity and an array of different characteristics to the wine.

in the cellar : The three cultivars were vinified separately. The fermentation took place in open top fermentors and maceration took place for 14 days after primary
fermentation. The Syrah and Mourvèdre were matured separately in 100% new French and American oak for 16 months. The Grenache is unoaked. Malolactic fermentation took place in the barrels. The wine was blended and bottled on 31 August 2002.
