in the cellar : Tasting notes: The wine has intense fruit with a touch of wood spice on the nose, including guava and citrus. On the palate it is rich and full bodied with good balance and a long finish. The wine has the structure to last but Chenin Blanc is usually best drunk young and fresh (within 2 years).

The 1995 & 1996 were also selected for SAA Business Class.
The 1996 was the Winner of WINE Magazines annual Chenin Blanc Challenge in 1999(which included a trip to the Loire Valley).
