in the cellar : First plantings took place in the early 1980s with domination in the Breede River and Coastal areas. The harvesting normally takes place around the end of February. In 1994 it was awarded the Champion South African-White-Wine Award, the first time a Chardonnay took this award! The wine was fermented in wood, where after it was left for about 3 to 6 months in oak. The 1999 vintage was awarded a Gold Medal on the South African National Young Wine Show and chosen for South African Airways.
