in the vineyard : Climate: Wet winters and warm summers, tempered by cool ocean breezes from over the mountain.
Soil: Weathered granite from Paarl Mountain.

about the harvest: Grapes were harvested above 23Â° Balling.

in the cellar : The juice was fermented at a high temperature in the beginning to extract flavour and colour and finished at a contrast temperature. The wine was matured in 300 litre French oak barrels for twelve months. No filtration.
