Hartenberg Chatillon 2002

Mouth-filling, crisp, full-flavoured, medium-bodied balanced dry wine. Displaying peach/lemon flavours with good palate weight the overall wine quality is unusual in a wine at this price.

Ideal to drink with grilled calamari/seafood with lemon butter and gentle spice rub. All cream or tomato based pasta dishes and vegetable lasagna.

ageing : Ideal for immediate drinking whether with a meal or on its own, but it will benefit from some short term keeping. Up to three years from vintage will do no harm, so long as the wine is stored in a cool place. During this maturation the Semillon character will become more evident developing a nutty richness and length.
