Plummy and stoved fruit on the nose with hints of sweet vanilla. The ripe plummy flavours are very prominent on the palate and ensures a soft, round wine together with the subtle tannin structure.

in the cellar : Destemmed, crushed into open top fermenters. Innoculated with yeast during third punch down of the cap. Cap punched through for 3 – 4 times/day.
Barrel details: 16 months in 300 litre French and American oak barrels with the wine being racked for 3 times during this period. 40% new wood.
