Traditional deep purple-red colour. Intense nose of coffee, black fruit and spice. Rich flavour of plums, blackberry, cherry and dried banana is complemented by nice smooth tannins and a long finish.

The grapes were harvested at 25.8º Balling between 5 February & 12 March 2002.
in the cellar : Matured in Vicard 225 litre barriques for 13 months (80% new, 20% 2nd fill). No fining, but sterile-filtered before bottling.
