Cloof Cabernet Franc Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2002

The usually small crop of our unirrigated bush vines was reduced even further by birds eating cabernet franc and merlot grapes – clearly the pick of our fruit! Consequently the yield was so small that these two varieties were fermented together. This rich, intensely concentrated wine expresses the extreme conditions under which the grapes were grown.
