Bartho Eksteen Shiraz 2002

A cool climate Shiraz with delicacy and finesse rather than complexity and muscular intensity. A clear, deep, vivid, garnet colour with typical blackberry, blackcurrant and cinnamon aromas. The palate offers some spicy and leathery flavours with hints of pencil shavings. A well balanced wine with a medium body and length. Remarkable for it's consistent intensity, developed complexity, clean finish, and integrated tannins.
